Up for auction is my 1993 Ford Mustang notchback 5.0 5 speed. I’d like to start off straight away to address the elephant in the room, the “rebuilt title” this car before me was a 1 owner, elderly owned, 100% rust free, 4cyl 5 speed car. Unfortunately when the elderly couple both passed away the cars were handed down to their kids. They didn’t know what the car was so they had a local junkyard pick the car up. I heard about this mint notchback and went and bought it from them. This is the ONLY reason that it has a rebuilt title. I have paperwork to prove this. It’s a factory paint, all vin tag matching car. All of that being said, after I bought the car I looked and looked which seemed like forever for a good 93 5.0 5 speed donor car. I did finally find one and did the full drivetrain swap. The donor car only had 40k miles. I went through everything. All gaskets, seals, clutch, brakes, water pump, power steering, radiator, fan and clutch, spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel pump assembly, fuel sending unit, all new oil, tranny fluid, diff fluid, coolant, brake fluid etc. the interior of the car is absolutely gorgeous and 100% original. No after market parts have been used. All the door seals, ashtray door, arm rest door etc are all factory and all work. The car has zero quirks of any kind. It truly fires up and runs and drives like new. The only mods are a set of flowmaster mufflers and smog equipment removed. The exterior is also all original including the headlights, paint, trim etc. the wheels have not been refinished and are in gorgeous shape. I did do a new windshield tho. Only “flaws” to note are a few marks where the elderly couple had backed into things (minor) and some rock chips which have been touched up. It’s an amazing car and the only reason we are selling is cause of some “life” things. Any questions let me know. I have a clear Washington title in my name in hand.
