Heads up Mopar guys and gals......Super rare 1971 Dodge Power Wagon W100 regular cab, short bed with factory 383 V-8!! That's right, a W100 half ton, short bed with #'s matching, date coded (8-28-70) 383, 4 speed (NP 445), divorced transfer case, and 3.55 gears. 4X4 works as it should with Warn "lock out" hubs. 63,000, believed to be original miles, but speedometer currently does not work. Amp meter, gas gauge, and temp gauge do work, but not oil pressure. Lights, heater, blower motor, and wipers all work. Brakes could use a little attention, and I'll include master cylinder with sale. I just have no time as kids playing sports takes what little time i have.
Truck starts right up and runs and drives good. No smoke, noises, or leaks. Brand new Pro Comp Vintage 69 polished aluminum wheels with 285/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrains with 75% tread. Has recently rebuilt, original, Carter 2 barrel carburetor, new fuel pump and sending unit, new Fire Core Billet aluminum distributor with "orange" box, new starter and battery, and I recently had driveshafts rebuilt.
Originally, ordered by a Nevada Fire Department, the 'ol Dodge was the Fire Chief's truck. Still has working spot light and siren. Truck is very solid throughout since it was a Carson City, Nevada truck up until I had it shipped to Michigan about 5 years ago. Has been stored in an insulated, concrete floor garage ever since. Only rust on truck is in driver's side foot well and rocker which is very common. Everywhere else is rock solid. The Dodge is basically a survivor that is unrestored. Not sure if motor or trans has ever been out of truck. This is an original red truck too with white interior. Not sure if seat was originally black, but it's white now with white visors and black door panels.
I have lots of nice, rust free parts that are included in the sale. These parts would help facilitate a restoration at some point. Parts included are another '71 short, wide box, 2 rust free complete fenders, a nice, dent free hood, 2 factory rechromed bumpers, and near perfect front grill. The box on the truck is a '68 which can be easily removed and sold.
Don't miss an opportunity to own a rare Sweptline Dodge with excellent color combo and rare factory big block. Truck, obviously, is sold as is, where is, with no implied warranties. I require a $500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction's end and full payment within 5 days. Cash, wire transfer, bank deposit, or cashier's check (after clears) will only be accepted. Truck does not leave garage until funds have cleared. I can help with your shipper if needed. No trades. Clean, green Michigan title in my name. Have copy of Nevada title as well. More pics and video of truck running available upon request, but please only if you are serious as my time is limited. I'm a 30 year Chrysler employee, not a dealer. I can be reached at 586-291-2247, but once again, only if you are serious. Only 1626 short bed Power Wagons were made in '71 (step side and short wide) and only a handful were big blocks and even less were red. How many can be left in existence? I reserve the right to end auction at any time as truck is for sale locally. Bid with confidence as I have 100% feedback. New bidders or bidders with poor or no feedback might have bids cancelled without checking in with me first. Good luck and Happy Bidding!!
