FOR SALE 1969 DODGE CHARGER, FIRST IT IS A (RT CLONE) THIS CAR IS NOT A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR, IT DOES NOT HAVE FENDER TAG.
HERE IS THE CHARGERS STORY. WE PURCHASED THE CHARGER ON E-BAY ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. The Body Shop that sold it had repainted it and installed a new black vinyl top, it ran, leaked and smoked. the transmission slipped a little. The interior was solid but well worn. We drove the car around a while and liked it so we decided to restore it with a few modifications. We pulled the 383 out and and sent it to Grice Racing Engines for rebuilding, Raymond said it would make around 500HP. We had the transmission rebuilt by a local rebuilder ( informed them it had to hold 500 HP ) We rebuilt the front end replacing all the bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks, sway bar, and new big block torsion bars. Installed new posi-track differential with 3.73 gears. and Grenely 1 piece axle bearings. Sent the instrument panel to be rebuilt, all gauges and tick-tock tack work good. The car was a factory air car, so we installed the aftermarket air in the factory vents. Pull the seats and had them re-upholstered in REAL BLACK LEATHER. We had finished everything on the car and pulled it out for a test drive the rebuilt transmission slipped when we hit second, we said no more of this and installed a Summit TCI 727 STREET FIGHTER transmission. WE drove and showed the Charger for a few years then parked it a insulated metal building, Last year we pulled it out again we replaced the carb with a AVS2 Eldebrock carb and installed a set of 3.53 gears .power steering box leaked so we installed a New Borgeson Quick Steer Box, rebuilt pump, oil cooler and also installed a hydro-boost brake booster system, also just installed two new front tires. That is all the good things, Here is what we know about the bad things, The Charger has been setting quite a bit over the last 20 years. It has some rust bubbles on the lower drivers door and in front of the rear wheels ( we have included pictures of these ) if there is more we have not discovered them. We are selling the car because we have too many to take care of. The Charger is for sale for CASH no TRADE THESE CAR ARE VERY RARE WE WILL NOT GIVE IT AWAY SO BID ACCORDINGLY ''NO WARRANY'' we have a lift if you need to inspect the car. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. (ps we have boxes of spare parts that go with it)
