Vehicle Details

1955 Willys PU that has been modified. Shortened wheelbase for improved break over angle. Powered by a 327 Chevy from a 60’s Corvette. New Edlebrock 4bbl carb. T-90 transmission and Spicer 18 transfer case. Has front and rear pto capabilities. No shafts in place. Rear end is a for 8.8 and has drum brakes. The front end is from a Scout and is a Dana 44 HD with disc brakes. Heavy duty steering components and suspension combined with power steering from a Toyota Tundra. The interior is simple and has Smittybilt seats. New gauges to monitor the engine. Heater works great. Floor pans are solid. I replaced the driver and passenger windows and associated seals. The cab itself shows some superficial rust and a dents here and there. This truck has been loved. used. Not a driveway princess. The frame is very solid and I woolwax it yearly. The bed has some rot especially under tool box. Recently replaced the output seals and U joints and yoke on the rear. This truck can go anywhere! Shifts great and 4x4 works great. 4 wheel low crawls like mad. Hard to stop this thing! Selling because I am buying more toys. You will enjoy this rig.
