About this vehicle

This 1956 Packard Patrician is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and interior. The owner has had it for 1 year. The engine runs well, however the transmission has an extremely bad leak which makes this vehicle undrivable. Before the transmission problem it was mainly used for weekend drives.

The car is very complete. I don't believe it's missing a single piece of chrome anywhere. The interior is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. The paint is fair with some bubbling on the lower areas of the doors. This car also has a vinyl top that is still in good condition. The previous owner installed an electric fan that can be switched on by the driver to help keep the engine temp down while cruising.

The engine starts and runs well, however the transmission has a bad leak, so it can't be driven.

I was driving it for a while. I had the oil changed, and the front brakes shoes along with the front brake cylinders replaced.

This is a great looking classic car that needs some tlc to make it roadworthy again.
