This is a wonderful 1965 Cadillac de Ville Convertible that our family hasowned for the past 20 years. It had been previously owned by a Hollywood Studioand was used as a driver car in a number of motion pictures.  (accordingto the owner, prior to my acquisition of the car).  It is a rust andaccident free vehicle with only 49,761 miles.  The Cadillac has beenthoroughly serviced and is ready for touring and showing.  We acquiredthis beauty for our personal car 20 years ago and it was used as a wedding getaway car for weddings in our family.

When we bought the car and it was only driven on special occasions andlocally in the neighborhood. The color is a Crimson Red. The color combinationof the silver with black interior is brilliant The trim items, chrome andstainless are all original and in very good to excellent condition. The top isworking and the engine and transmission has no leaks.

This Cadillac has been garage kept.  The interior has all of itsoriginal leather there are no cracks in the dash or steering wheel. The wirerims are also original. There is a full spare tire with matching rims as well.

We’ve performed all major and minor maintenance.  We’ve put about 2700miles on the car in the past 20 years and it is fun to drive!  The fivewide white wall radials are new with only the 50 miles driven thus far. The 429 cu in V8 has 340 HP runs well and was recently services.

This 1965 Cadillac de Ville is a beautiful representation of this trueAmerican classic convertible. The elevated tail fins became slightlydownward-sloping, and sharp, distinct body lines replaced the rounded look.Also new were a straight rear bumper and vertical lamp clusters. The headlightpairs switched from horizontal to vertical, thus permitting a wider grille.Curved frameless side windows appeared with a tempered glass backlight. Newstandard features included lamps for luggage and glove compartments and frontand rear safety belts. Power was still supplied by the 340 horsepower429 cu in (7,030 cc) V8. Perimeter frame construction allowedrepositioning the engine six inches forward in the frame, thus lowering thetransmission hump and increasing interior room.

Options on this car include A/C, power brakes, power steering, powerwindows, power door locks, cruise control, power antenna, power leather seats,power convertible top, factory AM/FM radio.  The engine compartment isextremely clean.  A Cadillac like this is getting harder to find.
