1982 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper, 1.6-liter diesel4-cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission. The tires are nearly new; the battery and starter were also replacedwithin the last year. The refrigeratorand sink work with 110 volt but I have never tried to use the built in propanetank since I’ve owned it but it may be ok. The hard roof pops up with an extra bed above, an attached tent (whichis in good condition) used for camping, the roof has a storage locker with newlocks and a kayak rack too that all work great. Included are 2 original factory removable hard top stationary lap tablesand 2 sets of the original inside fabric privacy camping curtains. The vehicle switches and gauges all work, butthe odometer doesn’t advance for some reason. However, the speedometer worksvery well and is very accurate. Includednew in the boxes but never installed are an on-board diesel-powered campingheater and a refrigerator-to-pantry conversion kit. The ARB awning was installed a few years ago andeven has several 12-volt LED lighting strips on the underside, which was onlyused camping once or twice. The bus runsgreat and starts every time and it has been meticulously maintained, it evencomes with the big Bentley factory VW repair manual. This bus has never been used as a dailydriver but only while RV-ing and it is totally smog exempt in California. Her name is Stella, and you must see her toappreciate her. I bought her from anestate sale in Sunnyvale, CA about 4 or 5 years ago from the widow and now I’mselling due to personal reasons. We havea vehicle history report showing no accidents, no recalls or title issues, shebasically has a clean bill of health for the entire vehicle history.
