This is a beautiful 1990 Volkswagen "Boutique Edition" Cabriolet.

This car is original and unrestored.  It has been meticulously cared for and has always been garaged.  It has 124,XXX original miles and is in excellent unrestored condition.

It has a 5-speed manual transmission with a 1.8 liter, non-turbo fuel injected motor.  It has full white "Boutique" leather interior, which is in very good original condition, with wear showing on the driver's seat, which could be restored or repaired.

It also has the original Boutique edition "Snowflake" wheels with new tires.

It comes with the original spare donut wheel, tool kit and jack.

All of the German language gauges in the console still work!

The car starts, runs and stops very well.  It is so much fun to drive and gets LOTS of attention everywhere we go!

Within the last 50 miles or so, it has had the following:

1.New Water pump

2.New timing belt and tensioner kit installed

3.Fresh oil change

4.All new anti-freeze

5.BRAND NEW 2-year free replacement battery installed 8/6/23

It does have an after-market stereo installed, however, the original AM/FM stereo that came with the car in 1990 is in a box in the trunk.

It still has the original owner's manual in the glove box, and also comes with a Haynes shop manual, as well as a separate electrical wiring diagram manual for Cabriolets.

The white convertible top is older and has normal wear, but it does come with a brand-new canvas top (burgundy) which is still in the shipping box and is also in the trunk.  It is brand new but was never installed.

A/C is not currently working, and we have not tried to address it.  There are also a few light rust spots popping up around the windshield (see photos).

It has a clean, clear title in my name.  

The car is being in sold as-is, where-is condition. 

All-in-all, this is a wonderfully original VW Cabriolet in beautiful, original, unrestored condition. Remember, they are only original ONCE, and this one is in very nice, original condition!

This car is located roughly 50 miles south of St. Louis, Missouri, in De Soto, Missouri, and is being sold in as-is, where is condition.  Pickup or shipping of this vehicle is the financial responsibility of the buyer.
