2001 Mercedes-Benz G500

2001 Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet finished with a Charcoal Gray Metallic exterior and Gray leather interior.  Driven just 46,513 careful miles since new.  This ULTRA RARE G500 Cabriolet was imported and sold when new by Europa International of New Mexico (the only authorized importers of G-class cars).  Options include an automatic transmission, power convertible top, heated front and rear seats, CD changer, wood steering wheel, 18 inch AMG G55 wheels (the original wheels are included with the sale) and much more.

This G500 just underwent a complete oil and fluid service within the last 20 miles and it drives even better than it looks.  The 8 cylinder engine is strong and powerful and the automatic transmission shifts properly through all of the gears.  The steering is tight and precise and the brakes feel just great.  All of the electronics are working properly as well.  This really is a remarkable G-Wagen to drive.  

The interior is really nice.  The Gray leather seats are in remarkable condition (see pictures) showing just a bit of color wear to the driver seat bolster.  The dashboard is like and even the carpets don't look or feel like they have been stepped on thanks to the Mercedes-Benz floor mats that have been protecting them.

The exterior is what really sets this particular 2001 G500 Cabriolet apart from the rest (not that there are too many comparisons).  The paint is in fantastic condition (see pictures) with no major scratches or dings anywhere at all.  The paint is bright and shiny with plenty of luster.  Add the factory Mercedes-Benz AMG wheels mounted on great tires and this G500 really does look special.

The 2001 Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet really is the ultimate SUV.  It has unique and timeless looks, a power convertible top for fun in the sun, a VERY limited production run has created a mystique that will surely grow, 4 wheel drive for all weather and road conditions along with all of Mercedes-Benz legendary safety, luxury and reliability.  The only real "apologies" to this G500 are a few typical windshield chips, the clock and temp pixels have dimmed (see pictures) and a few typical nicks and chips (see pictures) that are to be expected on any collectable car.  This is truly a unique example of a very significant and special model from Mercedes-Benz.  Please feel free to call me (Matt 516-658-4048) with any additional questions you may have.
