I built this truck years ago. It has been garaged and really not driven much .
It was taken apart and painted an put back together. The engine was built in Riverside I have build sheet. Heads were gone through Port and Polish 2.19 . Bottom end was balanced. ARP studs and rod bolts. Mild RV cam .524 lift .224 @.050. 110 Lobe separation, if you need it. Runs very Soild. Even have a dymo sheet 300 HP 435 FT Lbs Torque. I was young ands wanted to burn rubber....
The C6 Trans was rebuilt with shift kit, later on I Installed a GEAR VENDOR OVER DRIVE UNIT.; This Really helped as the .355 gears in the rebuilt DANA 44 would wind 3000 rpm at 60mph. Now you got freeway way gears with the vendor unit. Heck at 75 the tach is at 2800-2900rpm. It works well.
The brakes have all been gone through. Stainless lines with the stock Drums in the rear and a disc brake kit installed up front with a power booster under the cab From Classic Performance.
IDIT Tilt column installed with the Toyota Gear box Kit From Classic Performance.
All New smoke glass and windshield of course. The Stock Look in the cab is super cool. The Stock Speedo works sweet and is Accurate too. Interior redone in a two tone with the turquoise and a beige Tweed Bench seat and door panels looks sharp.
It's all there... key and go. I Just put a new Demon Holley carb on it. I put the Edelbrock cable throttle linkage. That is way better than the stock hard rod through the fire wall..
The wheels were done by Peter Paulson Powder Coated Red 15x8 5 on 5 1/2 with 48n Ford hub caps and a Chrome Beauty Ring.
The Rear Bumper is polished Stainless as well as the front . Hood Flip kit works well.
The bed has Stainless steel strips with oak wood.
The engine compartment does not look as good as the truck. I never really put much emphasis on these things... You will see in the picks
Now for the minor issues:
The rear end could use a new seal and rear end cover. There is slow, slow , slow drip. It's bugged me for me years! Maybe a new Pan Seal for the motor.. It's got a drip and well these old cars seem to do that. If I looked closely at it it could be just a tightening the engine oil cooler hoses.
Im selling her cause I need a new ride to work.
Please call me with any questions or contact me. I Hoping someone local will be interested. Call with questions before buying.
