This 1967 Ford Mustang may truly be one of a kind, from the documents presented to us and the story we got from its owner is she bought this car from an 70 year old woman in Colorado Ms. Suzy Jenkins. Ms. Suzy she had a 1967 Mustang in College. She always wanted another and in 1995 she got her wish; Every time she got in the car it took her back to those good ol’ days at Colorado State enjoying the games, going to parties , going to rally the world’s issues and etc etc but when she got home. The car always went into the garage and was seldom used till the next time, obviously not her everyday car over the years, but she kept it clean and cherished. From what we can tell she only put on a few thousand miles in her time of owning it, she did a local parade every year with her friends from the book club in the back, drove it on the weekend and enjoyed it when she could. Fast Forward to 2021, the car now more of a handle to drive so she told some friends it was going up for sale, the daughter of a friend from the book club was living in San Diego and heard of it. Much like all of us during 2020 and 2021 we could go anywhere so we all bought cars to simply just drive and get out of the house by ourselves, it was literally all we could do if you remember !!! So the car was bought and was shipped to Coronado, Ca where it has been since then. Since then some light restoration was done and mechanical improvements for everyday use were taken, again the Local July 4th parade of a new city was now the cars big event, along with a few local drives around the island , and participating in the Coronado cars on Mainstreet show. The car now sits with 28,815 miles we believe these miles to be accurate and original. States original miles on the CA title , and provided info show this spare use over many years. Equipped with 289 V8 and Automatic transmission, upon receiving the car in March of 2021 several thousand dollars were spent dialing it in which including engine removal, new seals and gaskets, Timing chain, Machined the Heads, water pump full service to engine and trans seal, cooling system u joints etc … The car runs and rive good, looks good it has been repainted but not in the original color, some chips and nicks are evident but no rust to speak of. The interior is good, not showing major signs of major ware but some, top is good and goes up and own no problem. It’s a fun California Cruiser great for cruise nights , drives up the coast or for whatever you wish.
