The car was kept within 3 blocks of the dealership where it was sold. The car was originally given to an employee who was injured on the job in 1957 in lieu of workers comp. The employee kept the car until he passed away and promised the car to the pastor of his church. Unsure of year original owner passed, but the pastor started restoration and became ill so the congregation completed restoration. Several of the people in the community knew of this story when my wife and I went to purchase the car for my brother. My brother has made many upgrades since the purchase of the car 3 years ago to total over $110,000.00 invested in the build of the car.
