A TRUE SURVIVOR CLASS CLASSIC! ORIGINAL PAINT AND INTERIOR! It's like 1960 all over again! 

I purchased this car around 2016 from it's second owner in the state of Washington. I had it shipped to Massachusetts and kept it in my personal collection. A friend talked me into selling it to him and I reluctantly did. He then fully rebuilt the mechanics. Rebuilt head, pistons, gaskets, cooling system, brakes and clutch. He likes a project so then it was timed to pass it on again. I sold it through OCG to a gentleman in IL with the promise he call me when he's done with it which he did. He enjoyed it VERY much (as did we all!) but grew to want to downsize his collection. So.....here it is again! 

Incredibly well preserved, mostly original car. Still wearing all it's original paint! Most of it's original interior also! I had the front lower portion of the front bench seat reupholstered with correct and original material purchased from SMS Auto. Original, rubber floor covering still in place and in pretty good condition. The odometer shows it's original 82,484 MILES! 

Rambler was proud of it's simplicity. Calling these cars 'The new standard in basic excellence.' Basic is this car. You'll notice a radio delete and clock delete plate immediately upon entering the car. A three speed manual column shifted transmission (with overdrive) and the 196 CI straight six under the hood. Presumably purchased new by a very frugal buyer which was not uncommon at your local Rambler dealer. However, this frugal buyer preserved and loved this car like no other. The survival rate on these cars was extremely low. This is an INCREDIBLE specimen. 

Obviously very turn key and ready to enjoy immediately. This car will bring a smile to anyone's face. I speak from experience!
