WHAT MAKES THE EVO IV SPECIAL:

The engine and transaxle were rotated 180° compared to the EVO I - III to better balance the weight and eliminate torque steer. The EVO IV is the first year of a new twin-scroll turbocharger which helped to improve response and increase power to 276 hp. Finally the EVO IV introduces Mitsubishi's new Active Yaw Control system which used steering, throttle input sensors and g sensors to computer-hydraulically control torque split individually to the rear wheels.
