1986 Dodge w250 4x4 3/4-ton ORIGINAL OLD MAN OWNED and cared for pickup truck.   

 

Only things I did where change all the fluids in the truck and replaced the original almost 40 year old Chrysler muffler with a oem quiet replacement .  ( unreal to see the original muffler still on truck ) .  

4 speed manual (granny low) with heavy duty transfer case and heavy duty floater rear axle .     

360 dodge gas engine 4 barrel has full power and is so well tuned up that I took my long-time car buddy for a ride and he said - Wow is this the fuel injected 360?   I said no its a properly tuned and running 360 with factory Rochester quadrajet carb-   it starts at the flick of a key. 

 THIS is coming from a GM guy but this 360 dodge has more power and guts then a stock 350 or even 400 chevy I've ever owned.      I can only imagine what a dual exhaust would do for this truck - 20-30hp easy increase!

360 fires right up and goes to high idle and kicks down itself after a min or so.   full oil pressure on gauge. no overheat at all!  runs perfect.    

No clutch chatter, brakes and emergency brake work perfect, steering is tight and straight, 4x4 works perfect, power windows are fast up and down, heat wipers and all gauges work accordingly.      this truck can be driven anywhere and i wouldn't be afraid to go anywhere.    new quality tires installed!       old man had a small emergency kit that will be included also and under seat.     

The body has all the original seams and spot welds and zero corrosion, even the cool 1980's pin stripping is original!    1 finger on the steering wheel at 55  mph .   original frame stampings and yellow frame codes still on frame!   I removed the sill plate and I pulled up the carpet to take a picture of the floors - white paint -zero rust !   

All electric is original and unaltered and works perfect! -  ( a lot of these old dodges have rigged wiring and terminals going to the battery and all sorts of rig jobs) this is 100% proper and correct and working.  

98% original paint with minor touchup for paint flake on fender.   

The only things I would do to this truck are :     bed floor has some scuffs that I would sand down, prime and repaint inside bed floor and add a rubber liner, driver's door pull has minor crack in vinyl, and fix the headliner with new fabric.      

I'm asking $19500 or best offer and if this was a square body chevy k20 in this condition id be asking $29500- The dodge is more truck and a lot heartier!       that again is coming from a GM chevy guy.  I have a very solid local offer also right now but thought I'd try eBay first.
