1998 BMW 528i that has always been in my family.  My father purchased it brand new.  Maintained by the same ASE Master Tech for over a decade.  Full maintenance records are available.  I have to sell it as I can no longer fight the rust.  Mechanically the car is great shape and you can drive it at amazing high speeds with great stability and control.  It has the best in-line 6 engine ever.  But the rust ate the rear brake lines and I sealed them off.  The master cylinder provides a lot of pressure and the front brakes are fine.  There are no other mechanical concerns and you can inspect it or talk with my technician.  The interior is better than expected condition considering the car is 26 years old.  This means the upholstery is worn but functional.  Please note - this is a stick shift and the manual transmission is super fun to drive.  The radio is great but the CD player no longer works.  The battery MIL light comes on AFTER the car starts. The MIL lamp indicator does not impact performance, starting or charging.  The battery is new and under a 4 year warranty.  It is an AGM battery from Pep Boys.  The car is located in Chicago.  We live near the Museum of Science and Industry if you want to check it out.
