This is my 2002 Miata, Manual 5 speed, that I have built up since purchasing in 2007. The car runs and drives great, with plenty of clutch left. I am the second owner. The first owner was a little old lady that drove it on Sundays. When I purchased the car, it had less than 30k miles. It was purchased in Texas. I moved it back to Cincinnati, where I lived until recently moving to Iowa. In 2016, I decided to finally overhaul the engine and add a bunch of performance parts. Since then I have only driven the car roughly 3k miles. We had a kid during this time, and a miata isn't really kid friendly. So this car has not been driven much since 2016. Mostly, started it up, took it out for 5 minutes, then parked it.
I have a body kit (that comes with car), that my brother was going to put on for me, and redo the paint job. That never happened, and the miata sat at my mom's exposed to the elements for 2 years. There's no rust that I can see anywhere, but the Hardtop and spoiler have really bad paint fade as you can see in the pictures. I will list everything I have done to car, and everything wrong with the car that I can find. Everything wrong with the car is cosmetic. The car runs and drives just fine. Because of everything I've done to the car, there is a bigger pull on the battery when off than normal, but I had this tested by a local mechanic. They stated as long as you're starting the car up regularly, it shouldn't be an issue. Never the less, I thought about putting a bigger battery in it, or a trickle charger. I just never did.
You'll note, that the soft top was removed completely. This was to save weight as I had the OEM Hardtop. The hardtop is OEM Hardtop with the rear window defroster adaptor. I never got the other adaptor, or really messed with it to plug it into the car. The front bumper, hardtop, rear spoiler, have paint fade, and chips of paint taken out of it. The front bumper had a bad license plate frame that eventually put a hole in the front bumper. The mazda badge on the rear of the car fell off one day recently. The thought has been for the last few years that I would just take it to a body shope and get the body kit put on, and have the all the cosmetic stuff resolved.  Over all, if you can, have someone, or are willing to pay someone to put a body kit on and repaint the car, this is a solid built miata.
I also am including the suspension coilovers I purchased back in 2022, that never got put on the car. Once again, just don't have time any more with work and family. They were purchased from flyin miata, and are the FM VMAXX adjustable coilovers. The body kit is 6 pieces. It is a Duraflex Bomber (I've included the stock photos of the kit installed on a miata). It is a front bumper, 2 sideskirts, 2 rear diffusers, and a spoiler. It is fiberglass, so you will need someone capable of custom fiberglass body work.
I just don't have time or inclination to drive the car anymore, between work and family. That being said, I'm not in a position where I have to sell the car. If the car does sell, I expect deposit within 48 hours, and communication for pick up and full payment within a week of auction close. Please look over all photos and video before placing bids. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. If you would like to see the car in person before bidding, I will gladly meet up somewhere to show you the car locally.
