I daily this all around Nashville from highway to city streets. Drives great even on highway up to 70mph or so. Selling because I have another project in need to fund. I need a new Porsche motor if anyone has a 912 motor laying around :)
The good:
This jeep is a BLAST to drive. Puts a smile on my face every time. It’s FAST! Everything works. It’s mechanically sound and taken care of. Easy cold starts and strong oil pressure even when warm. I daily this around East Nashville. Has no trouble on the interstate. Stops and drives very straight. Previous owner spent some serious time and money coating the frame and underside. I finished the interior with a custom Pendleton Woolenmill interior. ($2k) THE old school warn winch is out front. Also very valuable. ($1.5k)I but a brand new best top on with all the hardware for top, doors, and sides. ($1.3k)
The bad:
Gas gauge and temp gauge are inoperable. I’ve gone through the cooling system to it definitely doesn’t overheat, but no gas gauge can be annoying. The rear seats need brackets. I’m keeping an eye on eBay for them.
That’s it. Not much wrong with this CJ5.
