Original items include dash pad, door panels, headlight bezels, vehicle badges, steering column, gauge cluster, seat frame and foam.
The body boasts 95% original metal - the front inner wheel wells replaced, small cab corner repair, and drivers side windshield repair, and rear bed panel by the cab were replaced. There is less than 1/4 gallon of filler in the entire truck.
The engine was new crate 454 big block Mark V but had been sitting - therefore the engine was gone through and thoroughly checked and a camshaft, noisy gear drive, lifters, pushrods, bearings, oil pump, long tube ceramic headers, edelbrock intake was installed.The engine is topped off with FiTech fuel injection for modern driveability and performance. A CVF racing 8 rib serpentine belt system was also installed. The engine was finished in Chevy orange and silver. All accessories new. The cooling system is supported by a large 4 row all aluminum radiator and dual electric fans.
The 4 speed automatic 700R4 transmission is new, with an automatic lockup kit installed and a 1800 rpm stall torque converter was added.
The driveshaft is new as well as the limited slip differential, 3:73 gears, seals and bearings. The rear axle is a 12 bolt - 8-5/8 ring gear type so strength is not an issue with the power combination. The rear suspension also boasts new leaf springs and bushings.
American Autowire electrical system. Brand new wiring harness throughout, properly terminated and weather shielded.
As the dash is original and uncut a new Retrosound radio was installed, new 3.5 inch speakers in dash and 6x9 inch speakers behind seats. the original instrument cluster was cleaned and put back into service. The heater received a new motor, heater core and the controls were cleaned and lubricated.
The cab interior received heat and sound barrier, new carpet, mats, seat cover ,belts, behind seat carpet, and all pillar trim is new. The vent windows were restored with new seals, the doors and the rest of the cab received new seals, and new windshield with built-in antenna.
The bed was treated to raptor liner inside and in the wheel wells, new stainless steel bolt kit, and custom red oak flooring - custom dark stain, coated all sides in epoxy resin and then finished with high solids clear..
A roll pan was fitted to give a cleaner look to the body while the front received new bumper brackets, new chrome bumper and bolts.
