Well, I have been dreading this, but my 92' 740 Turbo Estate is available for sale. (Absolutely no rust, & never been hit, go figure not bad for 32+ years). We live in Reno, Nv & I drive her every day to Carson City for work (60 miles /day round trip) This lil' wagon doesn't smoke, knock, click, squeak or have any abnormal noises while holding 75-80 0n the freeway. Basically stock 2.3 Turbo "Red block", Body, Wheels etc... I cannot say enough good things about this wagon, as she does everything she was built to do, quietly & smoothly. All the good stuff; new radiator, R-1 Concepts drilled/slotted rotors w/ceramic pads (all 4 corners), All brake calipers are treated & painted yellow, Billstein B-4 shocks/struts, D088 intercooler kit, all new fanbelts, newly tinted windows, wiper blades, front & rear corner marker & taillights, liftgate struts, battery, Silvania head lamps, PCV oil breather, tubing & aftermarket catch can, 2-sets of factory ignition & door lock keys, all this for starters. Now for some of the "not-so-stuff" Interior is stock & in tacked, drivers power seat is inop, as are the seat heaters, but have manual lower seat track assembly to go also, sunroof works, you must hold down the wind deflector when closing (actually no prob), she has the typical VDO speedo issue (goes to 40-44mph & stops) but haven't repaired due to all the other gauges working as they should. Not 1 warning light on & they all illuminate when started! All climate control functions work, but the R-134 A/C system just needs a recharge (not a problem in Reno!) All other function on the inside work, all dash lights, interior lights, knob, switches aftermarket Alpine am/fm, CD, USB all work & sound great actually. All 3-wipers function has all factory spare tire + jacking/tool kit equipment & Volvo factory road tri-angle kit (Rare). All parts that were either replaced or modified are to go with her. She only has 250k currently but is driven daily (because it's jus' too Kewl !) Tires are all matching with 80% or more & she has the IPD sway-bars on both ends + the IPD cross member brace on the chassis. The body is really straight, except for a dent in the lower Lt rear rocker (previous owner) & she will need paint when ya want to? (I for 1 am not concerned about the paint thang) she has never left me on the side of the road needing a tow, so the paint would have been done sometime later. Gunna miss getting all those thumbs up & good looks. Asking is pretty reasonable, as these are getting much harder to find in this condition.
