Originally from Las Vegas NV. One of the cleanest 2nd generation 4Runners you will ever see. Spent its life in the dry Las Vegas NV climate. The dry climate and garaging have preserved this 4Runner remarkably well. The underside is in excellent condition with very minimal rust, which is impressive for a 29-year-old vehicle. It has lived in Maine since 2021, driven almost exclusively in the summer.
The paint on the roof is faded and the hood is starting to do the same but the rest is nice and shiny with a few scratches and chips. The Interior is nice and clean with a little wear on the driver’s seat. The leather is still soft and looks good and the carpets are clean as well. Rubber mat in the trunk has protected the carpet, which is pristine. The front dash has two cracks in the pad. All the windows, locks, A/C are functional. Apple Carplay unit and speakers installed in 2021.
The engine was also completely rebuilt in 2021 at 184,000 miles. This includes new oversized pistons and rings, new bearings, valve job, timing belt, water pump, etc. Motor and clutch have about 7,000 miles on them. Breaks and tires also replaced at 184,000mi.
Some rock damage on the front panel near the driver door. The door opens and this does not impact its use. It just needs trim re-attached. Small body project for someone with experetise, and almost invisible on first glance.
