1989 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet for sale

I can get any specific pics or video, just let me know. Can do a live FaceTime walk around as well.

Fresh oil change, new battery, new Michelin tires, alignment. Drives great, looks fantastic.

The original, non used spare tire, jack, tool kit, tire air compressor, factory owner’s manual and related factory books, interior tonneau cover, top boot cover and window sticker all come with the vehicle.

All gauges work, including the clock.

I have a current carfax, which is much more reliable and in detail than the Ebay auto check I can email.

I purchased this 1989 911 G50 Carrera from a 91 year old gentleman/doctor who pampered it for about 10 years. He was a life long Porsche owner/enthusiast.

The doctor purchased the Porsche from a prominent attorney who had been pampering it for 11 years up to that point of sale.

As seen on Carfax entries, the attorney did regular services over those years. A number of these services are also stamped into the Porsche maintenance booklet by the dealership that did them.

Two engine out services noted on the Carfax were done shortly before the doctor took over ownership. The hard copy for one of these engine outs is in the file.

The hard copy for this engine out at 78,241 miles (19k miles ago) shows:

New clutch/flywheel related components,

install updated trans cross shaft, bearings,

bushings, oil lines, crank seal, main shaft

seal, oil change.

During the process of his purchase, the doctor was informed a tap to the rear bumper by another car ended up with the attorney going ahead and having a glass out repaint of the Porsche at this time since the original exterior clear coat had fading issues by 2010.

Original paint and factory stickers are still in the engine jamb area showing no issue/repair in that body section from the 2010 Carfax noted bump to the rear bumper.

Original paint is still under the hood and in the door jambs as are all the original factory decals in these locations. The blend from the exterior repaint to these original paint areas is very good.

In June 2024 at 97,366 I put new Michelin tires on, had the brakes checked/measured out and alignment adjusted. The oil and filter were changed at this time as was the air filter.

The AC fan in the smugglers box needs to be replaced. I ordered the factory parts but have yet to have it done. I can pick up/pay for the parts at the dealership and send them with the car if you’d like. If the 911 doesn’t sell, I’ll have the dealer replace the fan and then regroup with selling next spring.

Starts up great, no leaks, fun to drive, gets constant complements, especially on the color.

The original catalytic converter was replaced with a Dansk cat at some point before 2014.

Per receipts in the file and Carfax entries, the 911 continually passed smog in Vermont through the years up until its last smog check there in May 2020. Smog not needed where I live.

The car is currently down at my seasonal home in Palm Springs, California. It has a clean Oregon title and current registration in my name.

I recently sold a property thus leaving me less garage space for the toys. Though I still have garage space elsewhere, it’s now kind of crowded. So, I’m putting this 89 Carrera and maybe one or two of my other toys out there. Once one sells, I will have the extra space I need.

Again, I can send any specific pics or video or FaceTime with you, just ask via ebay messenger.

Thanks for your interest.
