The first owner was Dr. Bernard Reimer of Mission Viejo, California. He kept this Turbo for 13 years and 70k miles. He used it as his daily driver. He serviced it regularly at a local independent specialist. He sold the car in June 2008 with 69,682 miles to Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas. They had the Newport Beach Porsche dealer perform a service and inspection. Gaudin sold it to the 2nd registered owner, a local enthusiast, on August 5th, 2008, with 70,115 miles. This owner kept the car for just over 2 years and added another 5k miles. During his care, he serviced it a half dozen times at Guadin Porsche. He traded it into them in November of 2009. They serviced it and sold it on January 15th, 2010, with 75,500 miles to an enthusiast from West Covina, California. This owner only kept the car for a year/2k miles before selling it to his friend and neighbor on July 8th, 2011, with 78,800 miles.
This next owner was an avid enthusiast. He kept, maintained, and improved this Turbo for the next decade, but only added another 3,500 miles. Due to family and work commitments, he found himself with less time to enjoy this Turbo. Despite that, he still serviced it regularly at his local Porsche dealer or a top local independent specialist. Besides routine services, this owner had Stuttgart Performance perform an engine out full reseal as well as upgrade the turbos. Highlights of services during this owner’s care include:

The previous owner installed a Fabspeed exhaust (cat back only – factory cats still in place), which sounds great and passes CA smog.
We helped this owner sell this Turbo in March of 2021 to a local collector and friend of ours. This current owner has a large collection as well as a dealer’s license, so the vehicle wasn’t registered, and the title is still in the prior owner’s name. He has a full-time on-site Porsche mechanic to look after his cars. During his care, he’s only added 200 miles, and the following services/upgrades were done:
New factory Ruf 18” wheels (original turbo twists have been gone for over a decade)
New Michelin 4S tires
Replace sunroof felts
Repair headliner from sagging
Condition leather seats
Full paint correction and ceramic coating (7/24 @ 82,369 miles)
The exterior of this 993 Turbo looks great and is one of the more interesting available colors of that period. Most of the time, it looks like a metallic charcoal/slate grey and in certain lights has a strong root beer metallic undertone. It’s clear that this Turbo was well loved, serviced regularly, and always garaged throughout its life. The paint appears to have hardly any flaws. The front nose (front bumper, half of the hood, leading part of front fenders) has paint protection film that was applied some time ago. It’s helped protect from rock chips. The Carfax® shows two separate “minor damage” reports from 2006 and 2008. This was from when the Ruf bumpers were originally painted and installed. It didn’t show up on Carfax® until about 5 years ago. It appears that most of the paint is original and checked with a paint meter. The front nose might’ve been painted to remove rock chips when the bumpers were being painted and installed, but we aren’t 100% sure as the meter readings are thin and have no rough edges. The rest of the paint is thin and there are a couple of spots on the roof where the clearcoat has thinned out. It’s not noticeable unless under bright light and close inspection. The body gaps are excellent and there are no signs of any prior damage or corrosion. All the exterior lights, except the foglights (bad switch), work and the lenses are in good shape. The side and rear glass is original and in good shape. A light tint has been applied to help further protect the interior. The proper factory stampings on the glass are visible. The windshield has been replaced at some point. There are no visible chips or cracks. The factory Ruf wheels are new and have no major flaws. They were installed with new Michelin 4S tires in 2022. The tires are date stamped middle/end of 2021. The front brakes have over 75% life remaining with no lips on the rotors. The rear brakes have about half-life left with a slight lip on the rotors.
The interior looks equally as nice and shows minimal wear. The front leather seats have no tears and some light typical exit bolster wrinkling. The front seats might’ve been replaced with non-supple leather seats sometime in the past. The power functions of both seats work properly. The rear seats look fresh and unused. The headliner has no tears or stains and both headliner lights work. The leather door panels have no pocket warping....
