This is an extremely fine example of the quintessential air-cooled 911 that was produced by Porsche for the 1988 model year...the legendary G50 Carrera. It is a two owner - all black coupe that has been religiously cared for, most recently by  it's last (and 2nd) owner of over 30 plus years and maintained by the same shop for well over twenty of those years. Always garaged and driven only in fair weather, the car remains in fabulous original condition with only an updated radio, as was not uncommon at all during the 80s.

Other than a slight separation in the driver's seat bottom there are no other cosmetic issues at all with the interior and the exterior is magnificent with no known collision history. The miles just turned over 117,000 with a top-end job having been done within the past 10,000 miles or less. The receipts for this (and other maintenance) were not available but I have had extensive conversations with both the shop owner that performed regular maintenance for over 20 years as well as the specialist that performed the valve job and top-end work that was done approximately 7-8 years ago.Contact information can be made available to the winning bider, They are both independent shop owners with extensive experience and both are in operation to this day.

Lastly the car drives and performs beautifully with all starting, stopping and braking  exactly as one would hope and the G50 gearbox is as smooth as can be. The clutch was also replaced not too long ago. Mechanically this coupe is sound and ready for the road.

By all accounts the 3.2 liter Carreras built from 1984-1989 are considered the most sought after of all air-cooled 911s with the G50 cars of 87-89 leading the way. This all black 88 coupe is as good as it gets and will make the next caretaker very happy.
