Vehicle Details

This is a very fast GTO Tribute, i purchased this car a year ago from someone who said that the car was just to much for him to handle. It began life as a 1970 Tempest. You might know that a Tempest is lighter and stiffer than a GTO. The car is running a built Chevrolet Big Block. It has a welded 12 bolt rear end. The battery is relocated to the trunk and the cut-off switch is installed as it has to be for fast-track cars, It does have Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with tailpipes writing in front of the rear wheels. It still sounds very healthy, so it can be run on the street. it has two racing seats with a ratcheting race shifter. I know it has a stall converter but previous owner didn't/t know the RPM's, Previous owner stated that he owned it for 5 years and never driven the car much, stated the car scared him with the power it had. I had plans on painting it but other projects kinda overshadowed me doing any of the things that i wanted to do, the stance of the car on the car definitely gives it an old school vibe. The fact that it's unpainted lets you see the body of the car honestly, no dents no rust at all on the exterior of vehicle, there's a little rust un the passengers rear floor pan. None at all on the body. If you're like me and think that the 70 GTO was the very best looking version then now is your chance to buy a very fast car at much less than what 70 GTO's go for. I'f you want more pictures or to see the big block running just let me know. Car has a brand new battery and the tires are at 90%.This car was a drag car and my plans were to return it back to the streets.
