General Terms

TERMS OF SALE: 

A $400 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of Auction end. Paypal/Credit card will be accepted for deposit only and Cashiers Checks, Certified Checks, Bank Wire Transfer or Cash In Person for the remainder.  All Credit card transaction will be charged a 3% fee. We will discuss payment options over the phone.  If deposit is not recieved in 24hrs or full payment is not recieved in 5 days Highland Park Truck Center has the right to void sale.

ILLINOIS BIDDERS ARE SUBJECT TO SALES TAX (7%) - (8.25% CITY OF CHICAGO), TITLE FEE IS $95 AND MOST LICENSE PLATES ARE $101--  ALL TRANSACTIONS HAVE A $122 DOCUMENTATION FEE.  THIS COVERS TEMP TAGS, AND ALL PROCESSING TO ENSURE PROMPT DELIEVERY OF ALL DOCUMENTS.

ILLINOIS ALSO COLLECTS TAX FOR SALE'S FOR THE FOLLOWING STATE'S

AZ- 5.6% -  CA- 6.25% - FL 6.0% - HI 4.0% - IN 6.25% - MA 6.25% - MI 6.0% - SC 5.0% UP TO $300

ANY OUT OF STATE COLLECTED WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR TAXES AT TIME OF REGISTRATION IN YOUR HOME STATE.

Out of State bidders will be given a CLEAN TITLE once all funds clear and pay the high bid.  When vehicle is registered in your home state you will pay tax and title at that time. 


Temporary 30 drive away tags are avalible for out of state buyers.
