And, if you have a few minutes, please check out my other items that are up for auction on e-Bay. Almost all of these items are either vintage or antique treasures from yesteryear that have been tucked away for years. Many items start with a low opening bid, which is NOT the value, but it's a real easy way to get the bidding started. The fair market value is set by the final bid. Many items are sold WITHOUT A RESERVE, occasionally there might be a "BUY IT NOW" price. Good luck bidding.
Description
- This week I have decided to sell one of my project vehicles. I have decided to sell my early 1915 Ford Model T chassis. This vehicle was pulled out of a barn in the Sacramento valley after the passing of the land owner about 8 years ago. I got it with the thought of either creating an era correct speedster or just leaving it as a chassis and putting on many era correct accessories that I have. But as many ideas I have, I don't have the time (or room) to keep this for my intended purpose.
- From what I can tell, the mechanics of this chassis have not been taken apart which is a good thing as everything is date appropriate. At some point, two of the pedals were changed, but I have good replacements for those as part of the sale. The engine is NOT frozen. The transmission pedals are all moveable and rebound as they should indicating the bands are not stuck to the drums. The rear wheels turn showing the differential is not frozen. The front wheels are the correct 24" diameter and there are two used 30 x 3 tires for rolling around the shop. The firewall / hood former has the correct coil box and coils (which are difficult and expensive to find) as shown in the photos. The cowl is not attached. The Holley Model G carburetor is date correct and can be easily rebuilt to be a good running carb. Along with the chassis are correct 1915 windshield brackets, original aluminum louvered hood, round gas tank with brackets, and several tools marked Ford. The chassis is in good shape with nothing other than surface rust. A quick blast and paint will be all it needs. The cast date on the engine block is 3-30-15. I do not have a title and this chassis will be sold with a bill of sale.
- This chassis can be picked up in Reno, Nevada 89519. Be sure to take a look at all the photos of the vehicle as they are part of the description.
- The chassis is being sold as used with no warranty as the the quality or function of the items on it. Many of these items can have flaws which are original to the piece and are not considered damage. These flaws can be casting errors, dents or scratches in the metal, variations in color, variations in thickness and uniformity, etc.
- Thanks and good luck bidding.
Condition
Overall: The 1915 Ford Model T chassis is in unrestored / good condition with wear from use.

Paint: No paint on this example.
Brass/Nickel: Not polished on this example.
Soil: This item has shelf dust on it and it has not been cleaned. That will be left up to the high bidder.
