530I Small V8, 5-speed. Bought from original owner in May 2000. Only selling due to not driving much any more. The Only thing it really needs is re-do leather on the driver seat. Very rarely driven in winter, never with snow. Fully maintained with all records even some from first owner. Estimate 15K on current tires. There is no visible rust. Car runs and shifts smoothly with no pulling. It brakes fine under all conditions.

One important thing to note here is that BMW had a problem with these motors with regard to the cylinder walls reacting to the high Sulfur levels in US gas at the time. It was called the Nikasil problem. They offered to test customers motors and replace the short block if necessary. Without having any problem, but wanting to know, I took it in to be tested, and they determined that they would Replace the short block. I don�t really think there was a problem, but it was work they wanted to do since BMW covered it. At any rate it was completed in January 2001, at around 38,000 miles and has been running fine ever since. Documentation available.
