Vehicle Details

1929 Ford Model A with handbuilt aluminum speedster body. Named the “red devil speedster”. Body was fabricated and assembled by an aircraft fabricator out of aluminum and riveted together. Wooden splines inside the boattail that it was fabricated around still there and built as they always were. Great care has always been taken to keep this as period correct as possible. We were aiming for a mid 50s racer. It is powered by a 1953 8BA v8 flathead with a 3 speed manual transmission. It has juiced drum brakes. There are no seatbelts as they are not required in MA for this age vehicle. The entire interior is made from one cows hide and their is some addition scraps in a bag if they are ever needed to colormatch repair. There is a sidestep for entry on the passenger side of the vehicle. I have driven it for years with my wife and young son and have never had an issue with police or maintaining registration and inspection. We have done many shows and lead a few parades for 4th of July. Front windshield had a crack in it ever since I purchased it almost 4 years ago and I just replaced it - this is why there is currently no inspection sticker but I still have the old window w sticker that expired in May. Since owning the vehicle I have replaced the radiator system and put real stromberg carburators on it. My family is no longer fitting comfortably as my child grows, so now on to its next home. Shes been real good and everyone has always loved her.
