For Sale 1970 Mach 1, 428 Cobra Jet (real "R" code).  $29,000.  Great car for someone that is able to reassemble it, I’ve owned it for five years and don’t have time to finish it.  It was a barn find when I purchased it in Georgia and brought it back here to Michigan.  It has always been stored in a climate controlled pole barn for the years I’ve owned it.  It’s an original 428 CJ R code (shaker hood)car with a C6 automatic.   It has probably one of the most desired color combinations of any Mustang, Calypso Coral (bright orange) with a black interior. The engine is not original, but does appear to be an original 428 CJ, it has the required “C” scratch on the block (see picture). Someone put a sunroof on it that I was planning to remove.  It has fenders and doors and boxes of parts that will come with it (see pictures).  Some of the boxed up parts will probably need to be repaired or replaced but they make good reference examples. It had the driver’s floor pan replaced, I’m not sure why, the rest of the floor pans look really good. Also frame rails and torque boxes look good.  I’ve seen 1970 428 CJ Machs sell for over$100k.  I know I’m going to regret selling it, but I’d like to see someone finish it.
