About this vehicle
Beautiful head turner for many years at Florida vacation condo. In 1990s car was near perfect and after paint touch up and new carpet a car cover was placed on it. Big mistake! Returning the next year car cover had been soaked from tropical storm even though car was in garage under condo. This caused rust all over body and chrome. Because car has never been driven in snow or salt the undercarriage appears fine. This 2 owner Florida car was only used at winter home in Florida by both the original owner and my family which has owned since the 1980's. It was always very dependable and well maintained. Receipts show brake overhaul, new springs, transmission removed and resealed and many other things in the 1990's when it had 49,000 miles. Shortly after that the car was driven to Ohio and stored away in a garage. It was started up and driven around block every few years. This impala is all original with 350 engine, 3 speed automatic, factory air, power steering, brakes windows, am-fm and rallye wheels. It starts right up now and can be driven however the brakes feel very stiff. The convertible top was tested and goes up and down as well as all windows however the front passenger window needed help. The radio plays and the AC kicks on however it is not cold. The car has new carpet (in 1990's) that is obvious and I remember when it was done. The convertible top appears new however nobody remembers if it was replaced but it does not have any stains and looks as new. No cracks in dash pad. Looks like new dual exhaust This is great car for someone who wants to make it roadworthy and have fun driver or someone who can do paint and bodywork can have a beautiful car for fraction of the price. This car was listed couple weeks ago and after auction closed the winning bidder claimed he never bid and it was accidental bidding by his grandkids playing on his laptop. I spent over week answering questions and sending extra pics and videos all to have a clown blame his repeated bidding on grandkids. Please, I consider your bid to be your word. Please treat it the same.Seller's Notes
The car has always been licensed and titled out of Ohio for insurance purposes.Vehicle Details
