I bought this GMC 1/2 ton pick up truck from a local farmer outside my town of Waukon who had this truck since 1990. I was told that he bought it from a local farmer and that the truck ws around the area since new. The truck is a 1/2 ton GMC100. The vin plate matches the title. It is a 5 window cab. The seat looks and feels great. The floors look good and solid over all but I did see a small spot starting to rust on the passenger kick panel floor. The glass is there, there is a crack in the rear flat window and passenger side window. There is some fogging starting on the edge of the windshield. The windows roll up and down easy. The truck body has a good solid look to it overall. I left it the way I got it as I like the original patina look. check out the pictures and video good so you can see what it is. Pretty solid overall. The bed wood looks good. The tires hold air but do loose air after a couple of days. The truck underside is solid. The 6 cyl engine fires right up everytime right away. The brakes stop the truck well but you have to pump the pedal a bit. The clutch feels great and shifts all gears like it should. I had the truck up around 45-50 mph and it rode great. The steering is easy and even has a vintage wheel helper turner on the steering wheel. I do not want to over call this truck or undercall it as it is a surviving unrestored truck, look at the pictures and watch the video and message or call me with any questions! This is a truck I would think you can get and start having fun with it right away while you take it to whatever level you want. It has a great look and always gets waves and smiles when I used it for advertising my business here in town. It has a clean and clear title.
I require a 200 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. if i do not get the deposit before you come for the car or within the time frame, i will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I invite you to come check it out in my classic showroom at my dealership teddy's auto sales waukon iowa or hire ebay or a local mechanic to do a private inspection. I can help recommend shippers i have used before who have been very reasonable.
