In March of 2018 I purchased this non roller Roadrunner. She was built in December of 1971. Only 906 cars roller off the line as 400 4 barrel 4 speed cars. Records show 4.6% were Basin Street blue. that's 42 cars. How many were black interior? How many had the call out hood? How many had no console? This was a low optioned go fast car. After 6 years of hard work and sourcing one year only parts she is complete. Body and panels were completely stripped either by soda blast or dipping. I have put maybe 500 miles on her since completed. I am selling the car to purchase an automatic car and retiring from the work force. This car was originally basin street blue. The Petty color. She was restored back to factory or better. I guess she would be classed as a resto mod. Front rear sway bars, All red bushings, upgraded to 1973 Roadrunner front disc brakes, painted Mopar Sinamon Stick Orange, stripes to my taste, carbon fiber tail pipes , electric exhaust dumps out of the 2.5" true dual stainless steel exhaust, custom audio replica radio with blue tooth.3:55 suregrip. Motor is newly rebuilt 400 horse power date code correct. Early date code block, some call it the thick wall block, she is .030 Keith black pistons. I have all the engine data, read end and transmission are original to the car. I did a tribute to the Hurst theme, this car has new everything. i have tons of photos and documentation of the reconstruction process. Between parts and paid labor I spent almost $50,000.00 USA dollars. I personally put near 1,000 man hours painstakingly sandblasting, polishing, restoring components and reassembly. This car is amazing you will love it. In todays world transportation and customs are easily accessed so delivery would run smoothly. I am in Salmon Arm BC Canada.
