1967 Oldsmobile 98 Convertible. 455 Cu In V8 with A/T, P/S, P/W, A/C, P/B.
Original car - needs restoration.

The GOOD
Solid body with original chrome trim. Very clean underside with only surface rust (please see pictures).
The engine runs and starts easily with no strange noises or smoking.
The transmission shifts through the gears.
The brakes work with new front wheel cylinders and hoses.
It has a decent street quality interior which was refreshed at some point.
The tires look newer with decent tread but not sure how old.
The car drives straight down road and stops.
Power windows work; but, need help to raise.
Odometer shows 46,181; but, likely 146,181.

The BAD
Front and rear bumpers show signs of bumps, dulling and surface rusting. They need to be replaced to be show quality.
Convertible top, while newer and basically weather tight, was cut on one side with a sharp object and poorly repaired.
Power top will raise and lower by hand; but, hydraulics were disconnected and need attention.
A/C is completely intact; but, non-operational.
While car starts easily, runs ok and the brakes function, I would not consider this car "road ready" for a trip.
Turn signal stalk is missing and signal lights non-op. Head lights function.
Fender skirts were replaced at some point with another set from a different car. Skirts have significant rust but fit well.
Car has been stored indoors for at least 10 years.

SUMMARY
This is a solid "Good Bones" 57 year old car well worth restoring.
Bidding is started at $6,000, a fraction of what it will be worth restored.
It starts well and runs without excessive smoke or strange noises.
It runs down the road straight and stops like a 1967 Olds should stop.
It has been in indoor storage for many years (10+ years) and should not be considered ready for a long road trip.
Clear open Maryland Title ready to transfer.
This car should be picked up with a trailer for transport home.
