The car had been parked for a few decades when I was finally able to buy it.
I had to do quite a bit of fixing up after being parked for so long.
Including:
Total brake system (all cylinders as well as shoes).
New clutch (I am assuming someone that didn't know how to properly use a clutch)
All new window motors. They all needed attention so I just bought brand new ones.
Carb rebuild. (original carburetor).
Heater core, (after I got it running I saw signs of anti freeze on the passenger floor).
I did a thing with the stock radio that lets it play AM or FM (new speaker also)
I replaced the distributor with a later Mopar electronic ignition. Original points set up included.
New dual exhaust.

Probably some other needed things that escape me at the moment.

I had all of the seats out to access heater core as well as window motors and found no mouse damage anywhere.
However, after driving it around for a couple years a passenger had occasion to pull down his sun visor. I was astonished to see that a mouse must have made its way to the headliner behind that visor and is the only damage of that kind found in this car. And is hidden by the visor.  This was a real disappointment to me as I had looked it over pretty closely. But I guess if I keep the car I may want to replace the headliner.
The car is in its original paint and is in very nice condition. The interior is all original as well. Starting to take a little wear on the drivers seat as the older original vinyl is beginning to dry out some. See drivers seat pic.

I am the third owner of this car. The original owner ordered this car solely to be able to join the 300 club in 65. It has never been a daily driver and the 30,000 total original miles are correct. A neighbor bought the car when the original owner died and very rarely (if not never) drove it. When he died, I was able to buy it from the family of this second owner.
The original owner ordered it with air conditioning (doesn't work, and since I do not care for AC I have never looked into it). It is also clock delete. It is a four-speed car and that makes it quite the rare beast. He also ordered a vacuum operated trunk release at the glove box (working) and it also has a tissue dispenser housed in the upper part of the glove box.
It has the base engine which is a 383 with a four barrel. Tires are getting old and I personally don't think much about the wheels that got put on it. I have the original hub caps that came on the car when new. The stock wheels are long gone but would have been 14" as the hub caps are for 14 inch wheels.
I guess I don't need to retire off of this car, but considering I have only seen a couple of these cars with manual transmission makes it pretty special.
The couple of four speed 65s that have crossed thru this venue in the last decade or so were priced way higher than my BIN.
Car doesn't leave my place until I am positive I have been paid. I am not asking for a deposit, but PLEASE PLEASE step up and cover your bid. I don't want any non-payers, so bid to win and pay up if you do win. Text if you like 5ive 0 three 55zero zero 7 for 5.
Again, please do not mess up my auction, I hate selling cars and just hope this goes smoothly for myself and the winning bidder.
