What it needs
Exhaust currently to rear wheel wells, dump to outsides. It's Ugly, too loud and can easily plumbed over axle to rear pan. Sale includes new Thrush oval muffs.
New r/shocks too much damp. need softened.
Front susp good except spring spacers (crappy solution)
No HVAC, Radio, PS,
Body has beginning rust bubbles, Dr door rust at ft bottom. 10' no prob, noticeable up close.
Paint is good (cut/buffed) ... will be disturbed if you rust repair.
Needs detailed, tidy but needs cleaned up.
Loud inside too, body holes, vents never sealed up from Corvair original. Easy/Tedious.
Dash, Gas gauge works, separate oil/water gauges, speedo ok. I suspect factory gauges are ok, but not connected.
You can drive it as is, or improve it as you use it??? This was a prev sho car, can easily be again.
Won Class (Chevy) at Santa Maria CA American Legion 2024 Car Sho.
