Very clean 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Coupe. Original owner had the car until 2023 when he passed away. I have had the vehicle for about a year. The original owner had the vehicle restored about 20 years ago, which was a frame off restoration. The original engine, transmission, and rear axle were replaced at that time. He replaced the drivetrain with a late 70's small block chevy and overdrive transmission. The vehicle sat idle for about 10 years before i purchased it. Since owning it, I have changed all the fluids, replaced the radiator and cooling fan. The cooling system had to be flushed and the heads were reconditioned, including new valve stem seals. Other items replaced - intake and valve cover gaskets, oil pain gasket, transmission filter and gasket, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires; rebuilt carburetor; and upgraded original front drum brakes to disc.  By no means is this vehicle perfect, but with some additional TLC it could be.
