This is a genuine 1966 Oldsmobile 442 Tri-Carb, matching numbers car
Odometer was not turned over, engine runs strong
It is originally a California car, only 20 built for Cal. with Tri-carb 4 speed option, these are rare
Also this was the last one off the assembly line with these options
Original 400 ci engine with rare tri-carb option, "T" stamp on the heads
Original 4 speed manual Muncie transmission with Hurst shifter, original 3:91 posi rear
It was repainted in 1997 but still looks good in person, color is Almond Beige that is the original factory color
paint has scratches/blemishes, driver seat has some wear
The car is not mint but an awesome daily driver, has no rot
It does not rattle while driving or when you close the doors
Tires are 14" Radial Redlines, Has power steering and power brakes, front brakes were converted to disc for better stopping, at car shows they do not deduct points for safety, ignition and coil were converted to electronic ignition
Runs and drives great, original Bias ply spare tire in the trunk, AM Radio does not work, never checked to see why
The horn only works sometimes but everything else works as it should
Over $10,000 was spent on it in the last 3 years with receipts to show that will go with the car
rebuilt and synced carburetors
