This listing is for a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500-time capsule ! This car is a 60,000-mile garage princess that has been meticulously cared for. this is a number matching 221 V8 with the "3 on the tree" on the column shifter. Runs great and has a little rumble to it. Paint is excellent. No scratches. NO DINGS. All original glass. Chrome is bright and shiny. Interior is in excellent condition and the original slipcovers were removed. Dash gauges and chrome are beautiful inside as well as the headliner. Door jambs trunk jambs perfect. all lights lenses signals etc.are excellent and working.
This car is a head turner, conversation piece and a 40+ time trophy winner. Refinished with the original color "Ming Green Polyester" in the early 2000's this car shines like it's still wet ! Never in an accident and NO rust ! Original owner purchased in 1963 for his wife and had the dealer install the hang on unit under dash air-conditioner that still works and blows R-12. Car was refinished by her two sons who owned an auto body shop who completely restored and refinished the car to its current condition. Drive it anywhere anytime. Car most recently had a new 3 row copper brass radiator installed to look just like the original as well as thermostat, hoses, etc., also 4 brand new tires, fuel pump, battery.
Also included in the sale is a handful of trophies and all of the "period correct" items that i display in the car and trunk at car shows as well as all of the literature to give it that old style charm.
