69 CAMARO RS/SS 396 4spd clone.
Started life originally as an RS 350 A/C car w/turbo 350 trans & a 10 bolt rr end. The car was turned into an iron headed 468 rectangle port 4 speed street racer. In 1992 I took it all apart and decided to turn it into a Pro Tour deal. Body and paint were done, but it’s been sitting covered for 32 years. It’s also mini tubbed w/15” of rear tire clearance, and yes the rear seat still fits. Has a Harwood 2” fiberglass cowl hood & a Ron Davis 4 row aluminum radiator. I’ve owned it since 1991. Car is an all metal original local Van Nuys California car. Had my 1000 hp 468 solid roller nitrous engine from my pro street Camaro in it. The motor is now all disassembled. Was going to put an automatic turbo 400 back in it (which I have used). I also have a disc brake Lincoln Versailles 9” rear end for it (also used) which bolts right in spring perch to perch as well as 4 Koni fully adjustable shocks. I have most of the interior for it & a factory tilt wheel column. Plus a bunch of new parts (wire harness, weatherstripping, door felts, Detroit Speed electric RS headlight door conversion kit, small parts like new OEM in the box logos, RS door small parts, etc). Have a pair of used black delux door panels. Factory Automatic center console. Have the factory A/C suitcase for a 396 big block car. You don’t find clean bodies like these around anymore. The paint needs some repairs from people knocking into it when covered in the garage. Moisture got under the paint on the trunk lid. That’s an easy fix. Strip & repaint. No bondo in this car. Will trade for right car like a 68-69 GTO or Pro Tour 55-57 Chevy. Can email me at JSAauto at that gee mail thing.
