1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 Supercharged Coupe

Hello, so this is third (and hopefully final) time that I have listed this vehicle here on eBay. The first listing, in March I voluntarily ended as I was having issues keeping it running, and there was a smoking exhaust issue. i was also getting a substantial amount of inquiry as a result of this vehicle having been featured in 'Barnfinds' (see link below), and I was overwhelmed. Subsequent to this the carburetor was rebuilt and the smoking apparently fixed as it no longer does this. I am still having trouble keeping it running and I think this is due in part to an issue with the Paxton (rebuilt by ERB Products) supercharger. I do not know exactly what the issue is.

Current operational state:
I typically have to spray starter fluid into the carburetor to successfully start the vehicle and then I am able to drive it (have not attempted to drive long distances). Once the vehicle is parked and turned off, it will typically again need starter fluid to operate and may or may start up after just having run. It's frustrating and I haven't given fixing the issue a prolonged effort recently. It is being sold as-is.

As can be seen from the photos, the seat and cab & door frame upholstery has been re-done. The carpet has not been fully installed, but there is carpet material included that may be sufficient to finish the job. The vanity mirror unit that slides inside the glove compartment is included as well is an uninstalled antenna and various other small parts. An aftermarket 'Avanti'-branded cassette player that has not been installed will also be included.

The build sheet is included. There is a manual I believe.

Clean title.

This was my Dad's vehicle and with the exception of the re-built carburetor and the attempts at addressing the supercharger issue, not much has been done with it. True mileage unknown as there is a newer set of 'Dolphin' gauges that read '00000000'.

Vintage Kelsey wheels. Dunlop racing tires.

This vehicle upon re-listing sold for something like $17,000, but the vehicle was not paid for and I have not attempted to re-list it until now.

I have video of it running, which will be posted ASAP
