This Karmann-built 912 had the motor and transmission overhauled and rebuild at 49,000 miles in November 2010 at European Performance Specialists at the cost of $5,174.41. At 54,216 miles the valves were adjusted and carb jets were cleaned and carburetors were reset. Car was resprayed in October 2008. Paints is nice and shiny. Original interior in great shape with no rips and or tears. File folder full of receipts. Comes with clean Colorado title. Previous owner owned from April 1986. I purchased the car in October 2014 and drove it from Colorado to Los Angeles. Car drove and handled as it should. Moved car to Indiana in 2018 and has be in climate controlled storage with monthly starts. All fluids were replaced last year when brakes and calipers were serviced. Only rust hole is behind front passenger wheel well bottom corner about an inch in size. Solid metal around it. Zero body rust. Pan is solid.
Car runs and drives great. Emergency brake needs adjustment, other than that, she’s ready to go.
