1985 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser 307 V8Vehicle Details
You are bidding on a 1985 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. It is mostly original and is equipped with a 307 5.0L V8 with a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission. The vehicle has 113,000 miles on the body. Motor and transmission have been replaced/rebuilt. This vehicle spent most of its life in Florida until 2022 when I purchased. It has been garage kept since and does not get driven in any weather including rain.
I have done the following since purchasing 2 years ago:
- The original motor was replaced with an identical olds 307 V8 out of an 80s Cadillac with lower miles. All original attachments were put back on. All gaskets were replaced to ensure no head gasket issues.
-The transmission was professionally rebuilt by a local transmission shop.
-Fuel Pump replaced
-AC Compressor replaced
-All smog equipment has been removed. The computer is still operating solely to run the electronic distributor which also controls the AC compressor.
-Front Seat transmission replaced to allow the electric seat to work again.
-Brand new blinker switch installed in steering column.
-4 Brand New White Stripe tires were installed in 2023. Driven about 1,000 miles since replacing. 40-50,000 mile tires.
All electronic windows work including the tailgate.
Power seat works.
Radio works as intended.
AC blows cold.
The AC belt squeaks a little on starts but stops once it warms up.
Great running car. We mostly use on weekends for car shows or around time.
There is some chipping of the paint on the hood due to years of rocks.
Someone tried to repair the original wood grain decal on the passenger side wheel well and the color does not match. Other than that, the wood grain decals are all original.
The car has no rust on the undercarriage and spent its life in Florida until 2022 when I purchased it.
