For sale is a 1975 Authi Mini (built in Spain under a British Leyland license agreement). This is a 850 cc MarkIII saloon. Indicated mileage is 88,XXX kilometers which is believed to be accurate but not documented. The car has undergone a partial restoration since my purchase which included, but was not limited to: replacement of both driver and passenger floor pans; Xmat installed on floor and firewall surfaces; new carpeting; new wood dash; new interior side panels; new boot liner kit; new Mountney wood-rimmed steering wheel; new door fixtures; new tires and Minator wheels; rebuilt HS4 carb; new coil springs with hi/lo trumpets; new shocks and bushings; new brake master cylinder and brake shoes; new choke and accelerator cables; a new Hardi electric fuel pump.
The headliner and cloth seat covers are believed to be original, but are in very good condition. The paint is in very good condition with only a couple of chipped spots that have been touched up. The transmission shows a small oil leak at the seal which amounts to less than a few drops after driving; it stops once the oil has cooled and no pressure. (The engine/transmission would have to be pulled to replace the seal and given the minimal oil loss it is much more economical to add oil if and when it drops below the fill line on the dipstick.)
Haynes and Mini service manuals, some spare parts and parts invoices included.
