This vehicle is an amazing driver and sounds like a beautiful Italian orchestra! It has not been tested for SMOG requirements so buyer will have to assume that liability. I’m proud to offer my love and favorite car, this classic 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi in the always gorgeous Giallo (Yellow) over a newly restored Nero and Marrone leather interior.
While the 308 first debuted in 1975, Ferrari did not launch the mechanically fuel-injected model until 1980 to meet all the new emissions and regulations set forth. The 3.OL V8 naturally aspirated engine was rated at 202bhp.
Total production for the 308 GTSi was said to be 1,743 models globally over a range of 4 model years. This particular 308 has completed 75,950 miles and is all up to date on its maintenance.

Mechanically it is in great shape. It fires right up and runs terrific. It was repainted many years ago and the quality of the repaint was not great - Not Ferrari quality - the flat visible surfaces are beautifully painted but the crevasses and internal (not so visible areas) show spakling / bumpiness.
The tail lights are installed in opposite positions (Red then Yellow vs Yellow Red). This was a aesthetic decision made by the previous owner. We can have them swapped back if desired.
This particular car will make a good driver and this is a chance for someone to get into a mechanically sorted Ferrari at an attractive price.
The 308 was made famous by the television series Magnum, P.l. in which the series lead, Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) drove the car around Hawaii for eight seasons while on his investigations, from 1980 to 1988. The 308GTSi was used for seasons 2-6. The 308 also appeared in memorable movies such as Cannonball Run and National Lampoon's Vacation.
