Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/ Austin is proud to present this 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 R/T Tribute. The handsome lines of these big 2-door cars have really aged well. They capture the '60s with dynamic, angular lines and wonderful detailing they wear it proudly. This Coronet has been beautifully refinished by Vrzalik's Automotive in San Antonio in Larkspur blue and rechromed trim giving the car a new feel but classic look. Under the hood you'll notice the 318CID V-8 has been replaced by a 440CID V-8 backed with a smooth shifting Torque Flight 3-speed automatic transmission giving you plenty of on demand power for the open highways. The engine has several upgrades that include long-tube headers flowing through the dual exhaust with electric cut outs, Edelbrock intake, Holley Sniper EFI system, Borgeson Steering box, MSD Distributor with MSD blast, aluminum Engineered Cooling Products radiator and Mopar Performance valve covers. The 8" Posi-trac rear end has been upgraded with 3.92 gears built by CT Thrash. The front bucket seats have been redone in a nice bright white vinyl with contrasting black door panels, carpet, headliner along with the new dashboard. Driver amenities include a center console, a floor-mounted shifter, updated LED lighting throughout, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and a Vintage Air system with cold ac and hot heat. The car has a nice, raked stance and rides on a super cool 15" Vision Legend 5's in Gunmetal gray with a machined lip wrapped in raised white letter 235/70s radial T/A tires with a full-sized spare in the trunk! A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer with auxiliary gauges that include coolant temperature, fuel level, an 8k rpm tachometer and alternator charge. Below the radio also has additional gauges of oil pressure, vacuum pressure, and a Holley EFI screen monitor. Beautifully refinished and a ton of fun to drive, this Mopar is the kind of car that we all want in the garage!.
