Up for sale we have a 1934 Mercedes 500K H.T Price Replica built by The Classic Factory in California. This is by far the rarest and most sought after of the 500K replicas, every H.T Price was factory built and only a few dozen were ever produced. This is a full size replica made after the exact dimensions of an original MB 500K, so not your average kit car but a pretty big recreation. The company closed its doors in the late 80’s when the owner passed and all of the equipment and molds for the 500K were sold to Heritage Motorcars in Florida. However, in order to reduce costs Heritage did a full redesign and scrapped some of the nicest and most authentic features of the vehicle including the beautiful windshield, the interior, door handles, steel body molding, etc... Heritage went on to sell many 500K replicas that you can easily find on the market to this day but they don't compare to this rare H.T Price. This one for sale here is finished in a nice and shiny white exterior paint with a beautiful custom red leather interior. The previous owner completely redid the interior and went the extra mile to try and replicate the original 500K. The result is a beautiful red leather interior with a mother of pearl gauge cluster and gold backlit Classic Instruments gauges. If you're familiar with these replicas then you know this interior is truly something special that took a lot of time and money to achieve. This recreation has plenty of eye catching chrome accents and prewar features such as the ornamental supercharged exhaust pipes on both sides of the hood, the beautiful split windshield that's frameless at the top just like the famous original 500K, chrome metal body molding all around, authentic turn signals, massive prewar style grill with ornament, rear mounted spare tire, vintage chrome headlights and tail lights, dual cowl lamps, authentic trumpet horns, nice chromed metal frame on the windows, and much more to be mentioned. Another thing you'll notice is the custom made hood vents on the sides of the vehicle, the hood was fabricated to look as similar to the original as possible, something that you rarely see on 500K replicas. This H.T Price is powered by a Ford V8 5.7L 351 Windsor mated to an automatic transmission, car runs, drives, shifts and brakes as it should, power steering and power brakes, very nice and clean engine compartment. Comes with a convertible soft top that can be seen in the pictures, folds nicely underneath the wing behind the seats. Clean undercarriage, no rust at all, custom heavy duty steel frame and very thick fiberglass body, paint is still nice and shiny for a car built long time ago, not new or perfect, minor flaws are present around the car, usually a rare HT Price 500K would sell for 50K and up.....
