I'm a retired air force military person. I like cars. This is a great car for the right person. I paid $5,000 for it less than a year ago. I need to buy a pickup truck for professional reasons, and hence the need to sell this car.

1.  Air conditioning is intermittent, usually does not work. When it does work,  it blows  cold.  But, hit a bump and it quits blowing.  Has been diagnosed as a problem in the heat/air conditioning blower motor (right side of the front dashboard, stuffed way back in there.

2.  Headlights:  work fine both brights and dim

3. *Tail lights:  on at night, signal a left turn, works okay.  Signal a right turn,  (will have to check)

4.  Body and glass condition:   all good.  no chips, no cracks.

5.  All power windows go up and down, no problems.

6.  Upholstery:  Good shape for it's age.  No rips or snags.

7.  Body exterior:  Very good.  A couple of very small creases, rubs.  Takes a hard look to find.  All doors open    and close normally, all doors lock/unlock normally.

8.  Paint:  Good.  No sun spot faded patches, I call it  a champagne beige color. Hides dirt very well.

9.  Radio/Tape player/ CD player.  Radio works fine, tape player works fine, I can't get the CD player to work.

10.   Owner modifications:   Some, when I bought the car, July 23, the old guy in the wheelchair didn't disclose a lot of Condition information. He probably had not driven it, being in a wheel chair.  He did have a TX car dealer license.

11. Only have one key (original)

The Benz came from the factory well equipped with many features.  Over time and in Texas heat, many of these features quit working.

               a.  driver door button to open trunk.  Did not work.  So I used my Airforce mechanic skills to do some exploratory surgery. After a few blind cuts from inside in the area of the trunk latch, I got it to open.  To be able to open it at will, I installed a rod to connect to the trunk release mechanism, and routed it outside for use.  That is the brass colored rod you see in the trunk photo. Works just fine now and is a definite conversation piece!

               b.  most of the interior compartments, except the glove box, would not open normally.  After much effort, I was able open them carefully and immediately disabled their locks. However, the center console does not currently open. Others (glove department, small console, now open normally, but can't be locked.

11.   Mileage:  as of now, the odometer shows 190,125 miles.

12.  Reliability:  Has never failed to start quickly and perform well.  I personally think the Mercedes Benz cars will get 300,000 miles with no problems.  This  has been my daily driver since July 23, and (except for air conditioning which is on and off) has performed well.  It gets decent gas mileage, and has peppy acceleration.
