Heartbroken.  Trusty family of five hauler since 2010.  Bought from Carmax as a 2 year lease return with 29,000 miles on it.  Exceptional car from day 1.  Still looks amazing.  Grand Touring Package with 21" rims, two tone "sand" leather interior and sunroof.  This is the reliable 2WD version not the 4WD.  Car ran perfectly for over a decade then got a new transmission and water pump in 2020 at 207,500 miles.  Ex-Wife owned it but hit a rock in Yosemite in 2023.  Car was not worth much to the insurance company so they totaled her out.  I bought it from the insurance company and had it towed back to LA and repaired and refreshed- new right control arm, oil pan, new KYB struts and shocks, new Michelin tires all around.  Drives like brand new but youngest son and buddies took it north to Mammoth for skiing and failed to check the oil level.  Engine seized.  Paid to have it towed back.   Still drives and runs fine but has "the knock"- likely a main bearing.  As some of you wrench-heads know - that can be good for 15 miles or 15,000.  I'm done.  Just want to hand this nice, great car off instead of donate it.  Like I said, it drives great, air conditioning is perfect.   Everything works like new.  Engine job was quoted at $5,000 and this really is just a sentimental car for me.  So if you have access to a shop, this could be a great ticket.  Car drives nicely.  Have video here: https://youtu.be/KOmNRk6kpAA
