THE TRUNK IS BEAUTIFULLY FINISHED IN THE SAME MATERIAL AND TRAPUNTO STYLE AS THE INTERIOR. IT CONTAINS THE BATTERY, A BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH AND FUEL FILLER ACCESS. THE BATTERY IS LOCATED BEHIND THE TRUNK’S REAR PANEL, OUT OF SIGHT!

MECHANICALS 

 

THE ENGINE BAY IS NICELY FINISHED IN MAGENTA, AND CONTAINS A CHROME ALTERNATOR, AND THE VINTAGE AIR A/C COMPRESSOR.

 

THIS  AWESOME CUSTOM IS POWERED BY A BUILT HIGH-PERFORMANCE 350 CU IN CHEVY ENGINE WITH HEADERS, TOPPED WITH AN EDELBROCK PERFORMER SERIES 4 BBL CARBURETOR, POLISHED ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS AND AIR CLEANER. IT’S BACKED BY A REBUILT 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. POWER IS TRANSFERRED TO THE MASSIVE REAR TIRES THROUGH A 9” NARROWED 3:50 REAR END. OTHER MECHANICAL FEATURES INCLUDE A MUSTANG II FRONT END, RACK & PINION STEERING, ADJUSTABLE COIL OVERS, DUAL EXHAUST, AND A 12V UPGRADE.

THIS 1940 FORD IS IN EXCELLENT MECHANICAL AND COSMETIC CONDITION!



While this is a beautifully restored vehicle, there are a few minor things that need to be mentioned. The radio and the horn are not working. This may be something as simple as a fuse, but no attempt has been made to track it down. Some of the restoration shows very minimal age. I’ve tried to disclose everything I can think of, but it’s pretty easy to forget something minor.
